How to donate ...
A World Trade Center fund has been set up for the immediate families of, and any persons financially dependent on, those lost in the attacks. Please follow the links below to learn more about the donation or sponsorship pledges available to you:
1. World Trade
Center Appeal, UK
If you would like to donate to the Fund please make your cheques payable
to 'Risk Waters World Trade Center Appeal UK' and send them to WTC Appeal,
Risk Waters Group, Haymarket House, 28-29 Haymarket, London SW1Y 4RX .
Alternatively, you can transfer funds direct to Risk Waters World Trade
Center Appeal UK, Lloyds TSB Bank, Baker Street Branch, London, sort code
30-90-39, account number 01206392. If you wish to receive acknowledgement
for funds transferred this way, please copy your instructions to WTC Appeal
at the Risk Waters Group London address.
2. World Trade
Center Foundation, US
If you would like to donate to the Foundation please make your checks
payable to 'Risk Waters World Trade Center Foundation, Inc.' and send
them to WTC Foundation, Risk Waters Group, 270 Lafayette St., Suite 700,
New York, NY 10012, USA.
Notes: The Trustees/Directors of the Funds will have discretion over how and to what extent to benefit individual claimants and their decisions will be final. As long as the Trustees/Directors act honestly and in good faith they will not be legally liable for the exercise of their discretion nor for any loss that may occur to the funds raised, howsoever caused.
The UK Fund will not itself be a charity, but any surplus will be applied for such charitable purposes as the Trustees/Directors think most appropriate to commemorate those who died.
The US Foundation has applied for charitable status and is awaiting a determination from the IRS.
